Our Take on BrightFunded Futures
BrightFunded Futures enters the market with a genuinely interesting structure. Removing the daily loss limit, using a single trailing max loss floor that never hard locks during the evaluation, and offering daily payouts on the BrightPlus plan are practical design choices that other firms have been slow to adopt. The BrightCore end-of-day trail is a sensible middle ground for traders who want the floor to step up once a day rather than with every tick, and the absence of a funded-stage consistency rule is a relief. Commissions are published all-in, platforms cover the three most requested options, and the $120 to $460 one-time cost with no hidden monthly or data fees places it firmly among the cheaper futures evaluations.

Our Take on BrightFunded Futures
With an overall rating of 72.3/100, BrightFunded Futures is a new futures evaluation firm from the team behind BrightFunded, offering two stripped-down 1-step challenges on CME Group products. The BrightPlus plan delivers daily payouts and an intraday trailing max loss limit, while BrightCore uses an end-of-day trailing floor and pays out every 5 winning days. Both evaluations come with no time limit, no daily loss limit, no monthly or data fees, and access to NinjaTrader, Tradovate and TradingView with real-time CME data included. The fee structure, ranging from $120 to $460 one-time, is among the cheaper futures options we have tested. Payouts are designed to be rapid on paper, with a $250 minimum and processing in up to 24 business hours. However, the product is barely a week old and has zero independent payout history. The BrightFunded Trustpilot profile, which primarily reflects the separate CFD business (BrightFunded CFD review), holds 575 largely positive reviews (70% five-star), but Trustpilot's own notice states the rating is currently unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines after it removed a number of fake reviews for the company. BrightFunded Futures operates under a Wyoming LLC with no published registration number. The parent brand's years of operation and the largely positive review base are genuine positives, but the product's extreme youth and unpublished registration details keep the overall score constrained.

Challenge Accounts
The evaluation line-up: two 1-step plans, one trailing floor design each
BrightFunded Futures has launched with two straightforward 1-step evaluations, BrightPlus and BrightCore, both available in $25K, $50K, $100K and $150K sizes. Each plan uses a single profit target of 6% and a Max Loss Limit that acts as a trailing floor, with no separate daily loss limit, no time limit and no minimum trading days. The fastest possible pass is 2 trading days on BrightPlus and 3 on BrightCore.
Choosing between the two comes down to how you want the Max Loss Limit to trail and how you want payouts to work once funded. BrightPlus trails intraday with open profit included and pays out daily, suiting active traders who manage positions tightly in real time. BrightCore trails end-of-day from the highest daily close, making it more forgiving for swings and multi-day holds, but it delays payouts to a winning-days cycle. Neither plan imposes a consistency rule once funded.

Launch offer
At the time of this review the firm's own launch code BRIGHTFUTURES takes 50% off every futures evaluation, which is where the $60 and $65 starting prices on the product page come from. No end date is published. This is BrightFunded's code, not an affiliate code from us.
1. BrightPlus
BrightPlus: real-time trailing floor, daily payouts
BrightPlus is the faster of the two plans in almost every sense. Its Max Loss Limit trails the equity high in real time, including open profit, and it never locks during the evaluation, so the floor moves with every tick. This demands disciplined trade and risk management because a strong paper gain that reverses can drag the floor up and tighten the effective breathing room at any moment. The structure rewards traders who scale out and lock in profit quickly, and it punishes overstaying a good move.
Once funded, BrightPlus offers the simplest payout rhythm in futures prop trading we have seen: one approved payout per trading day, as long as the closed-trade balance clears a buffer equal to starting balance plus Max Loss Limit plus $100. After each payout, fresh profit of 1% of the account size must be generated before another request. The drawdown floor locks permanently at starting balance plus $100 once equity reaches the buffer, giving a hard floor that never trails again. For the right trader, this design shortens the gap between profitable trading and cash in hand significantly, at least in theory.
| Account size | Fee | Target (6%) | Max Loss Limit | Contract limit | Payout cap / request |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $120 | $1,500 | $1,000 (4%) | 2 minis / 20 micros | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $165 | $3,000 | $2,000 (4%) | 4 minis / 40 micros | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $280 | $6,000 | $3,000 (3%) | 8 minis / 80 micros | $3,000 |
| $150,000 | $380 | $9,000 | $4,500 (3%) | 12 minis / 120 micros | $4,000 |
2. BrightCore
BrightCore: daily floor update, winning-days payout cycle
BrightCore markets itself as the best value plan, and the structural difference is the Max Loss Limit mechanism. Instead of trailing every tick, the floor updates once a day between 4:45 PM and 5:59 PM ET, based on the highest daily close, while the breach check still runs on live equity all day. This means an intraday spike in equity that fades before the close never raises the floor at all, giving a more forgiving environment for swing traders and strategies that tolerate intraday heat.
Payouts on BrightCore follow a winning-days cadence. After each approved payout, the trader must produce 5 winning days, where a winning day means closed-trade net profit of at least $100 to $300 depending on account size, and the count resets after each request. A paid add-on can cut this to 3 winning days. Every payout request is capped at 50% of current profit on top of the dollar caps, which deliberately slows large withdrawals. For traders who can wait and who want the less aggressive trailing floor, BrightCore is the more structurally forgiving choice, though the payout tempo is slower than BrightPlus by design.
| Account size | Fee | Target (6%) | Max Loss Limit | Winning day threshold | Payout cap / request |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $130 | $1,500 | $1,000 (4%) | $100+ net | $1,000 |
| $50,000 | $190 | $3,000 | $2,000 (4%) | $200+ net | $2,000 |
| $100,000 | $340 | $6,000 | $3,000 (3%) | $300+ net | $3,000 |
| $150,000 | $460 | $9,000 | $4,500 (3%) | $300+ net | $4,000 |
Consistency Rule and Minimum Trade Duration
Consistency: evaluation-only delay, never a breach
The consistency rule applies during the evaluation stage only and is designed as a gate rather than a disqualification. On BrightPlus, the best trading day’s net profit must not exceed 50% of total net profit. On BrightCore, the ceiling is 40%. When the ratio is out of line, the pass is simply delayed until the trader has accumulated enough additional profit to bring the ratio within bounds, and the account is never failed for this rule. Once the trader moves to the SIM Funded stage, consistency is no longer monitored at all, which is a genuine advantage over many competing firms.
Trade duration: the 15-second rule and a conflicting page
A trade duration rule applies in both the evaluation and funded stages. More than 50% of winning profit must come from trades held longer than 15 seconds, or the pass is blocked during evaluation and the payout is blocked when funded. This is a soft gate rather than a breach, but it will stop payouts cold if not respected. The how-it-works page publishes a 10-second version of this rule, while the dedicated help article states 15 seconds. We treat the help article’s 15-second figure as canonical because it is the stricter and more specific official source. Traders should build in a margin above 15 seconds on winning trades to avoid payout delays.
Add-Ons
Three paid add-ons are available at checkout, applied as a percentage surcharge on the evaluation list price. The 100% Profit Split add-on raises the funded split from 80% to 100%, though the firm does not publish its exact price directly; a reset-pricing example suggests it costs roughly 20% of the evaluation list price. The 2x Payout Cap add-on doubles the per-request payout ceilings, and its price is not published anywhere we could find. The 3 Day Payout Cycle add-on for BrightCore shortens the winning-days requirement from 5 to 3, and here we found a conflict: the plan page states a surcharge of +30%, while the help guide lists +20%. All add-ons carry over through resets and cannot be changed at the reset stage.
| Add-on | Effect | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 100% Profit Split | Keep every profit dollar instead of the default 80% | Not published (a reset example implies roughly +20% of the fee) |
| 2x Payout Cap | Doubles the per-request caps to $2,000-$8,000 by size | Not published |
| 3 Day Payout Cycle (BrightCore) | Payout every 3 winning days instead of 5 | +30% on the plan page, +20% in the help guide (pages conflict) |
Resets and Refunds
Resets cost 45% of the full list price of the account including any add-ons, and are available without limit while the dashboard timer runs. This keeps resets affordable relative to a full repurchase, and the add-ons carry forward unchanged. On refunds, there is a direct contradiction: the help center describes a refund within 7 days of purchase if the account is untraded, while the futures T&C state all fees are non-refundable, subject only to a 14-day statutory withdrawal right that lapses the moment the first simulated trade is placed. The T&C wording is the legally governing text, so any expectation of a refund after trading is practically nonexistent.
Prime Program: The Route to Live
Prime Program: eligibility and Risk team review
The Prime Program is BrightFunded Futures’ route to live trading with real CME capital, and it is gated by a risk review rather than an automatic promotion. A trader becomes eligible for review after reaching one of three milestones: 5 approved payouts on a single account, 10 approved payouts in total across accounts, or 20% profit on one account. Meeting the threshold triggers a Risk team review, not an automatic invitation, so not every eligible trader will be offered Prime.
The Live-or-Cash-Out decision
Upon invitation, the trader has 24 hours to choose between a Live account or a one-time Cash Out. The Live account starts with real CME capital from $0, an 80% profit split, daily payouts with the same $250 minimum, no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and a cash bonus every 10 winning days, with per-account bonus totals of $5,000 to $30,000 by size. The Cash Out alternative pays 50% of the Max Loss Limit ($500 to $2,250) in full with no split, followed by a 21-day purchase cooldown. Regardless of the choice, accepting either option closes all SIM Funded accounts, so a SIM Funded account effectively concludes at the Prime decision.
| Prime item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | 5 approved payouts on one account, or 10 payouts in total, or 20% profit on one account; the Risk team reviews, it is not automatic |
| Live account | Real CME capital starting from $0, 80% split, daily payouts, $250 minimum, no daily loss limit, no consistency rule |
| Live bonuses | Per-account totals of $5,000 / $10,000 / $20,000 / $30,000 by size, plus a cash bonus every 10 winning days |
| Cash Out alternative | One-time payment of 50% of the Max Loss Limit ($500 / $1,000 / $1,500 / $2,250), no split, then a 21-day purchase cooldown |
| Decision window | 24 hours to choose; no answer defaults to Live; either choice closes the SIM Funded accounts |
Commission Fees & Pricing
Commissions are charged per contract per side, with all exchange, NFA and clearing fees included in the published rates. The firm lists rates across its 36 symbols, with major contracts like ES, NQ, RTY and YM at $2.88 per side and their micros at $0.95. Currency futures such as 6E, 6B and 6A run $3.10 per side with micros at $0.84, while energy products range from CL at $3.00 to QG at $2.00 and metals like GC at $3.15 with MGC at $1.30. The all-in transparency removes guesswork, and the rates are competitive for a simulation-based evaluation environment.

Financial Markets & Leverage
CME Group futures: 36 symbols, nothing else
The product menu is limited to CME Group futures only, with 36 listed symbols covering equity indices, currencies, energy, metals and agriculture. The index lineup includes ES, NQ, RTY, YM and their micros, plus NKD without a micro contract. Currency futures span 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6N and 6S, with micros for the first three. Energy offers CL, MCL, QM, NG and QG. Metals cover GC, MGC, SI, HG and PL. Agriculture rounds out the list with ZC, ZS, ZM, ZL, ZW, HE and LE.
Futures, not CFDs
This is not the same product as BrightFunded's CFD challenges. Traders who want CFD forex pairs, CFD gold or CFD crypto need the main BrightFunded CFD review. The futures product runs on different platforms, a separate help center and its own terms, operated by a different legal entity.

Not offered
Treasuries (ZB, ZN, ZF, ZT), options on futures, crypto futures, the VIX, softs such as coffee, cocoa, cotton and sugar, plus spot forex, CFDs and stocks. Traders who need rates products or crypto futures will need a different firm.
What is missing
Notably absent are treasuries, options on futures, crypto futures, VIX, softs, spot forex, CFDs and equities. Traders who depend on bond futures for macro strategies or who want to trade crypto and VIX products will find the range too narrow. The firm has built a focused CME-only environment, and that focus is not likely to change given the licensing and data infrastructure described.
Trading Platforms
Three platforms, real-time CME data included
Every evaluation and funded account comes with access to NinjaTrader on Windows, Mac and web, Tradovate on web, iOS and Android, and TradingView on web, iOS and Android, all at no extra cost. Real-time CME market data is bundled into the package, which removes a common hidden cost. The firm markets an exclusive NinjaTrader partnership, and the inclusion of TradingView for chart-centric traders alongside Tradovate’s mobile capabilities gives broad coverage.
| Platform | Access | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| NinjaTrader | Windows, Mac, web | Included |
| Tradovate | Web, iOS, Android | Included |
| TradingView | Web, iOS, Android | Included |
Simulated execution, no exchange routing
Execution is fully simulated, and no orders are sent to any exchange. The firm uses real-time CME data for pricing, but fills occur inside the firm’s own evaluation environment, not on a live order book. The data vendor is not named. This is standard for the evaluation-funding model, but it means traders should expect simulation fill behavior, not true exchange execution, right up until a Prime live account is granted.
Payments & Profit Payout
BrightPlus payout mechanics: buffer, daily cadence, fresh profit
On BrightPlus, payouts unlock once the closed-trade balance clears a buffer equal to the starting balance plus the Max Loss Limit plus $100. The buffer for each account size works out to $26,100, $52,100, $103,100 and $154,600. One payout is permitted per trading day. After each approved payout, fresh profit of 1% of the account size ($250 to $1,500) must be generated before the next request. Once equity reaches the buffer, the drawdown floor locks permanently at starting balance plus $100, creating a hard floor that no longer trails.

BrightCore payout mechanics: winning days, 50% cap, floor lock
BrightCore does away with the buffer. Instead, payouts are gated by a winning-days count: 5 winning days are required per request, with a winning day defined as net profit from closed trades of at least $100, $200, $300 or $300 depending on account size. The count resets after each approved payout. Each request is capped at 50% of current profit on top of the dollar caps, so a trader with $2,000 profit on a $50K account faces both the $2,000 dollar cap and a 50% profit cap limiting the request to $1,000. The floor locks at starting balance plus $100 when the first payout is approved.
Methods, minimums and processing
Payouts are sent via USDC (ERC-20) or bank transfer, processed in up to 24 business hours. The minimum payout is $250 based on three consistent help-center articles, though the how-it-works page lists $500, another launch conflict. The dollar-based payout caps per request are $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 and $4,000 by account size, doubled by the paid 2x Payout Cap add-on.
Our Payouts Verdict
The payout design scores 65 because the fast, trader-friendly surface hides structural slowdowns and because zero track record exists. Daily BrightPlus payouts, a $250 minimum and 24-business-hour processing read well on paper. In practice, the BrightPlus buffer and 1% fresh-profit gate, the BrightCore winning-days reset and 50% profit cap, and the $1,000 to $4,000 per-request caps mean that extracting large profits quickly is intentionally difficult. The biggest weight on the score, however, is that no trader has yet received a single payout from this week-old product, so the promises are entirely untested.
Customer Service & Education
Support is offered through 24/7 live chat and WhatsApp, and the help center houses detailed articles on most rules and processes, though the conflicts noted between the how-it-works page and the help articles suggest the documentation was assembled under launch pressure. The Discord community, shared with the parent CFD brand, has roughly 29,400 members and is active, but discussions remain almost entirely focused on the CFD product. As the futures product matures, dedicated futures channels and moderation will be needed to make the community useful for futures traders.
Worth confirming before you buy
The prices of the 100% Profit Split and 2x Payout Cap add-ons, whether the 3 Day Payout Cycle add-on costs 20% or 30%, the minimum payout ($250 in the help center, $500 on the how-it-works page), the end date of the BRIGHTFUTURES launch code, and the name of the market-data vendor. None of these are published consistently.

Wyoming LLC, no registration number published
The futures product is operated by BrightFunded LLC, a Wyoming company with a business address in Austin, Texas, and the firm describes it as separate from the CFD business. Despite this, no Wyoming registration number, filing date or certificate of good standing is published anywhere on the site. For a firm asking traders to pay up to $460 per evaluation and promising live capital, the omission of basic corporate-registry details is a gap that invites caution. The parent CFD brand has operated since 2023, but the futures entity itself has no independent history.

BrightFunded Futures & Trustpilot
Trustpilot snapshot
The shared brightfunded.com profile holds 575 reviews as of 1 November 2026, with 70% five-star and 21% one-star. There is no separate futures listing. Trustpilot's own notice states the rating is unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines after it removed a number of fake reviews for the company, and the firm replies under the name BrightFunded Team.
Trustpilot's removal of fake reviews and the withheld TrustScore are a public finding. The remaining review base is largely positive, and the firm engages by replying to feedback. None of this is futures-specific yet. This mix, a withheld score alongside a largely positive but CFD-based review record, is exactly what the 6/10 trust score captures.
A Brand-New Product
A week-old product with no payouts
The futures programme is approximately one week old at review time, with industry coverage dating the launch to late October 2026 and no date published by the firm itself. There is no payout history, no completed withdrawal proof, and no independent verification that the stated payout speed or Prime pipeline works as described. What we would want to see before trusting larger fees is several months of consistent public payout confirmations, genuine futures reviews arriving on the shared profile, and publication of the LLC registration details.
Our Trust Verdict
Trust scores 60 out of 100, well below the top futures firms. The withheld TrustScore after fake reviews were removed, the week-old product, zero payout history, and unpublished registration details are exactly why it falls short. The established parent brand since 2023 and the largely positive review base keep it from dropping further. This is a deliberately below-par score that prices in the known risks while acknowledging the operator's longer history.
Simulated trading environment
BrightFunded Futures states that execution is simulated using real-time CME market data and that no orders are sent to any exchange. SIM Funded accounts are simulated programmes, not personal brokerage accounts. The Prime Program's Live stage is the only point at which the firm says real CME capital is involved.
On 1 November 2026, Trustpilot showed neither a TrustScore nor a star rating for BrightFunded Futures, and the profile carried Trustpilot's own notice that the rating is unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines, and the screenshot above shows that notice as it appeared. Trustpilot withholds a company's score when it finds the company has broken its rules for collecting or handling reviews, but it does not state on the profile which rule was broken, and we make no claim of our own about what happened. The 575 reviews already posted stay on Trustpilot and remain readable, with only the score hidden, and Trustpilot restores the score if it lifts the notice. A withheld score is not a score of zero and not a low rating, and it means Trustpilot is not vouching for the figure at the moment, and we recheck this profile every month.
Overall Score for BrightFunded Futures
Trust remains a caution. The futures product is about a week old with no payout track record. No futures-specific reviews have yet appeared, and the shared Trustpilot profile, while largely positive (70% five-star), currently displays no TrustScore after Trustpilot removed a number of fake reviews for the company, according to its own notice. The operating Wyoming LLC publishes no registration number, and several official pages conflict on key details. The parent brand's years of operation and the positive review base are genuine strengths, but the new product is asking traders to rely on a promise. Our trust score of 60 already prices this in: the suppressed TrustScore, zero payout history and missing registration details are exactly why it scores well below the leading futures firms.
We think the cautious approach here is clear. Treat any evaluation fee as the full cost, start with a $25K BrightCore account to test the mechanics at minimal risk, and demand several months of verified public payouts before scaling up. The product design shows real promise. The operator’s disclosures need to catch up.
Overall Score for BrightFunded Futures
The overall 72.3/100 reflects a product with a strong structural design weighed down by limited trust evidence for the new futures product. Trust 60: the parent brand has operated since 2023 and the shared Trustpilot profile holds 575 largely positive reviews (70% five-star), though Trustpilot's own notice states the rating is unavailable after it removed fake reviews. The futures product is a week old with no payout track record, no futures-specific reviews exist yet, and the LLC publishes no registration number. The 60 is a deliberately below-par score that prices in these gaps while crediting the parent's established operation and largely positive review base. Rules 80: the rule set is among the most trader-friendly we have reviewed, with no daily loss limit, no time limit, no funded consistency rule, news trading allowed and permitted EAs, held back only by cross-account hedging breadth, the 15-second trade duration rule and multiple conflicting official pages. Payouts 65: the design is fast on paper with a $250 minimum, daily BrightPlus payouts and 24-business-hour processing, but per-request caps of $1,000 to $4,000, the BrightPlus buffer, the 50%-of-profit BrightCore cap and the complete absence of a track record limit the score. Costs 85: one-time fees of $120 to $460 with no activation, monthly or data fees and published all-in commissions make this one of the most affordable futures evaluations available. Access 70: three mainstream platforms and US acceptance are strong positives, but the 55-country restricted list is unusually broad for a CME-only product.
