FundedPrime recently launched a new challenge built purely for meme coin trading, where you can trade tokens like PEPE, TRUMP, WIF, BONK. Leverage is much higher at 10:1 than what you get crypto trading via the one or two step challenges, and it let’s you trade meme coins without having to use a wallet or sign up to a crypto exchange.
The Meme Coin Challenge is a one step evaluation with a 5% trailing drawdown and no daily loss cap. Account sizes start at $5K and run up to $100K, and if you reach funded trader status your profit split will be 80%.

The first of Funded Prime’s more traditional prop challenges is a one step evaluation. You’ll need to trade for a minimum of three days, but there’s no reset costs and is ideal if you want quick results and fewer steps.
There’s two different add-ons you can buy for the one step challenge. The default payout cycle is 14 days, but the early payout option let’s you bring it forward to a week. You can also increase your profit share from 80% to 90% for an additional fee.

The prop firms other standard challenge is a two step evaluation, with similar trading rules to the one step but split across two stages (5% daily drawdown, 10% max loss, and 3 minimum trading days per phase).
The two step challenge has a faster default payout policy, which are paid out weekly with no add-on needed. You’ll still need to purchase an add-on to increase your profit share to 90% from 80% though.

The Stock Challenge is built for equity traders who want to focus only on shares. It runs as a one step evaluation with the same 5% daily drawdown and 10% max loss you’ll find in the other models, and accounts sizes are between $5K to $100K.
Both add-ons are available to increase profit splits and payout frequency, but you will be completely restricted to stock markets with no other tradeable asset classes.

When we evaluated Funded Prime we really liked their add-on options. It’s enough to let you customise your challenge experience, but not charging you for every feature that you’d expect to be included (like EAs).

We scored FundedPrime for its challenge lineup, the rules and risk requirements are easy to understand, and they offer traditional one and two step evaluations as well as innovative new models like the Meme Coin challenge.
Funded Prime spreads are based on live market conditions thanks to Eightcap being their pricing provider, and commission fees are below the industry average.
For forex, indices, and commodities, you’ll only pay a commission fee of $5 per lot when you open a trade. You’ll pay a $2 USD fee per lot per side for US stocks, while other stocks, cryptocurrency, and meme coin commissions are charged as a percentage of volume.

Funded Prime scored 8/10 because spreads are via Eightcap’s pricing feed, and the $5 total commission on forex, indices, and commodities is competitive. US stocks are good value at $2 per lot per side, but shares outside of the USA are expensive since fees scale with trade size. Crypto and meme coins are also charged by volume, which works for smaller positions but adds up fast on bigger trades.
You can trade a great range of financial markets with Funded Prime, from major assets like forex, indices, commodities, crypto, and stocks, to more obscure meme coins, but each challenge has its own speciality. One Step and Two Step stick to forex, indices, and commodities, the Stock Challenge is equities only, and the Meme Coin Challenge is built around tokens like PEPE, WIF, and TRUMP.

All trading is simulated but the feed comes from Eightcap, so pricing and spreads line up with what you’d see in live markets. Leverage is capped at 1:50 on forex, 1:10 on indices and commodities, 1:5 on stocks, 1:1 on standard crypto, and 10:1 on meme coins.
Verdict on Markets and Leverage
We scored Funded Prime 8/10 here as they offer strong across all the main asset classes, and the meme coin challenge adds something different. The only drawback is crypto trading, where the 1:1 cap on BTC and ETH feels restrictive compared to other prop firms, but they make up for it with 10:1 leverage on their Meme Coin Challenge.
Funded Prime offers DXtrade and Tradelocker, but you won’t find MT4, MT5, or cTrader which lost the prop firm a few points during testing.
DXtrade is used for one and two step challenges only, while Tradelocker is available with every model, including the stock and meme coin challenges.

DXtrade is only for one and two step challenges, not for the meme coin or stock account. It has fast execution, and will do the job if you prefer clean execution without extra tools cluttering the screen. You can also run Expert Advsiors to automate your trading strategies, giving you most tools you’ll need for the more traditional challenges.
Tradelocker is accessible via all Funded Prime challenges. We personally preferred when we tested the prop firm as it offers more advanced charting and technical analysis tools, as well as a more modern layout. You can also utilise algo trading on this platform, making it suitable for more experienced traders taking challenges.
During testing we found new trading rules click in when you receive your funded account. Daily and overall drawdowns are fixed at 5% and 10%, and inactivity of 30 days will close your account. Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed, but grid systems, martingale, arbitrage, and copy trading are banned.

Verdict on Trading Platforms and Rules
Funded Prime has a good combo of platforms with DXtrade covering simple, fast execution and Tradelocker giving you more tools if you want them. Free use of EAs is a big plus, since many prop firms block them outright or make you pay. Daily profit caps, strict volume stability limits, and inactivity rules are all pretty standard in the industry, but they’ll limit how quickly you can scale if you’re a more aggressive trader.
Funded Prime keeps its payment system simple, with fixed challenge fees and clear withdrawal terms. But once you’re funded, several layers of restrictions kick in, especially during your first few payouts.
While the processing times are fast, you’ll need to navigate profit caps, KYC checks, and volume limits before accessing your earnings.
Challenge fees are paid upfront and are non-refundable once you begin your challenge. Add-ons like quick payouts or higher profit splits are optional extras, and can increase your initial fee payment by 20% to 45%.
You can request a payout once funded, but the minimum withdrawal amount is $100, and there’s strict conditions for the first three profit payout cycles.
You also have to go through full compliance checks before you can access your profits, but this is standard for any prop firm and we didn’t come across any issues when testing the firm.

Funded Prime scored 7/10 thanks to fast processing times and low payout thresholds, but dropped a few points because of the strict daily profit limits. The prop firm rewards consistency over aggressive returns, which may frustrate some.
Funded Prime offers basic support and educational resources typical of a new prop firm. A searchable FAQ hub addresses common questions around platform rules, challenges, payouts, and accounts.
For anything not covered, users can submit direct support tickets via a contact form. There’s no live chat or phone support currently, and educational content appears limited to platform onboarding and basic guidance.
As a newer prop trading firm, Funded Prime is still building out its support and learning resources, we’ll update this section once more tools or services become available.
Verdict on Customer Support and Education
Support is responsive but limited in format, and education is minimal beyond FAQs. A solid foundation, but there’s room to grow.
Funded Prime is an Australian prop trading firm founded in 2023, so relatively new. Both challenges and funded accounts operate within a simulated environment, with no live trading at any stage.
Although you’re trading in a simulated environment, Funded Prime aims to replicate live conditions by using the pricing, spreads, and trading tools of Eightcap, a trustworthy and regulated forex broker.

When testing Funded Prime we didn’t run into any issues while signing up and being verified.
